Why Now?

The pandemic will have awful consequences that we can't even imagine on the mental health of our children and young people. But unfortunately, the mental health crisis was already on the rise, with services like CAMHS struggling to keep up.

It's been tough!

Mental health and wellbeing are far from a fad that will fade away; it is an ever-growing need and focus, backed by science with evidence that 50% of mental health problems in life take root before the age of 15. (*excluding dementia)

Waiting until problems are acute is far too dangerous; we need to work collaboratively, with haste, to educate our youth - taking a preventative stance that will empower the next generation.

Since 1998

In 1998 the World Health Organisation (WHO) advised the whole school approach to health promotion; the WSA is not new, it just hasn't been systematically adopted yet!

The Whole School Approach and its many advantages now feature within both Government Green Paper and the NHS Long Term Plan.

Let's take control

The Co.lab platform gives you the tools to measure outcomes over outputs, contributing to a national collective with the shared goal to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our teachers, children and young people.
